Rugby Drill Demonstration

Description

Shuttle place kick /Catch and play to the gain line. Kickers then set up for the next kick while players reorganize.

Make as many kicks each player in 5 minutes

 

Green 1pt

Yellow 3pts

Red 10pts

Coaching points

-select target

-setting the ball (ground or tee)

-stance for run up

-open body facing target

-non-kicking foot hip-width from the ball

-keep core strong

-keep head down and forward

-follow through with kicking foot to finish towards target
